   It was a wonderful visit and worth the trek, the scenery all around is spectacular, the nature, the sea, the light. The sun was a bonus but the island is spectacular as always, well worth a visit for a day or even longer if time allows....spotted yurts in the campsite. ...maybe next time.

   Jul 22, 2014 · The views are breathtaking and Ed himself, the owner, is a wonder of nature, he doesn't need sight to be able to know what the goats need. It was a wonderful visit and worth the trek, the scenery all around is spectacular, the nature, the sea, the light.

   What was the goat walking experience like?

   • We did the goat walking experience and it was amazing!! We went for a lovely walk with the goats and then was able to play with them at the end. They are so affectionate and it was an amazing experience. Our guide  was also lovely which made the experience even better.

   What was it like to visit cleire goats?

   • Part of this beautiful experience was a trip to Cleire Goats where we were lucky to meet Vanessa. She greeted us so warmly and without a beat took us down the fields to introduce us to the herd. My children were fascinated, as the herd had moved down the fields and were now settled into an area where the whole harbour was on view.

   Are goats friendly?

   • The goats are extremely friendly and we had a lovely time with them. We bought the goat ice cream which we all enjoyed even more having played with the goats that had produced the milk to make the ice cream. The ice cream was resonably priced as was the goat cheese which was equally delicious.

   Do goats Steal Your Soul?

   • This was Vanessa, who kept up a steady knowledgable and loving chatter about each of the goats as she worked. Apparently, goats can steal your soul because they can be so sweet. Who knew? When the milking was done, we went out back to meet the kids. So many baby goats, so little time! Vanessa's deep affection for these animals is infectious.

   Where is the goat farm?

   • The goat farm is situated at the top of a step hill, apparently if you go the other way...the long way around you don't have to climb the hill, they told me this afterwards ( my ex-friends :p you know who you are).
