The average 2.5" HDD runs at ~130 MB/s maximum, ideally. Whereas an SSD would push up to 6x those speeds. I'm guessing based on the consoles' age, they use some form of SATA2 which means the bandwidth itself is being capped by the old hardware. Even so the SSD should probably be up to 3x faster than the HDD, and it's not even showing those speeds.
Apr 8, 2015 · Unless you want to spend the time cloning/reinstalling your OS, your current SSD will be fine. But it would definitely be worth it to upgrade your 5,400RPM HDD to a 7,200RPM HDD.
