Apr 8, 2015 · Unless you want to spend the time cloning/reinstalling your OS, your current SSD will be fine. But it would definitely be worth it to upgrade your 5,400RPM HDD to a 7,200RPM HDD.
My only concern is the small size of the SSD you've got. Considering the 65gb (give or take) install footprint of GTA V, it'll take up a significant portion of the hard drive's space. That's what I was thinking. It might not be worth it if i'll be cutting only a few seconds of load time.

Sep 17, 2013 · The average 2.5" HDD runs at ~130 MB/s maximum, ideally. Whereas an SSD would push up to 6x those speeds. I'm guessing based on the consoles' age, they use some form of SATA2 which means the bandwidth itself is being capped by the old hardware.
