No, I remember a great low budget sci fi film called Screamers starring Peter Weller based on a PKD story though! Also, Cyborg with Van Damme, the Nemesis series, and Hardware are way more trashy and totally worth watching in the same genre of movie
I like both sci-fi and horror, and this looked like a great Terminator-esque hard sci-fi movie. Boy was that wrong. Although Peter Weller did a pretty good job, the plot felt disjointed the entire movie. And then there’s the surprise twist: everyone’s a screamer. No exceptions.

Screamers is not a bad movie, there's genuine trade craft on display and there's clear passion in front of and behind the camera, but one can't help feeling a sense of deja vu thinking they've seen this movie before but better.
