Tropes I hate: Tsunderes and reincarnated OP MC. Both are so overused and badly written so often that they've become shit! I have dropped mangas and animes entirely (like Tonikaku Kawaii and Toradora) because I couldn't stand the tsundere characters, and I actively avoid Isekai manga. Good self-aware manga: Starting today she's my childhood friend.
Misunderstandings are so overdone and tedious in mangas. The plural of manga is manga. For example, a couple can break up in chapter 5 and they won’t get back together until chapter 23 all because of constant misunderstandings and lack of communication. It’s quite tiresome waiting for them to get back together.
