Following national trends, JD enrollment at California's ABA-approved schools began to decline in 2010. By 2022, enrollment dropped by over 25 percent compared to 2009, despite just three schools losing their ABA accreditation. Enrollment at unaccredited law schools declined even more so than at ABA-approved schools (over 80 percent since 2009).
