  2. Jul 7, 2024 · From Nancy Sinatra’s empowerment anthem to Elvis Presley’s rock and roll classic, artists across genres have laced up their songs with references to boots, highlighting their significance both on the ground and in our hearts.

    • Jon Pardi – Dirt on My Boots
    • Morgan Wallen – Sand in My Boots
    • Hardy – Boots
    • Brooks & Dunn – Boot Scootin’ Boogie
    • Jon Wolfe – Boots on A Dance Floor
    • Terri Clark – Better with My Boots on
    • Shania Twain – Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under
    • Aaron Watson – These Old Boots Have Roots
    • Dolly Parton – Daddy’s Working Boots
    • Eric Church – These Boots

Jon Pardihas been a breath of fresh air for fans wanting 90’s country sound on country radio. “Dirt On My Boots” has the fiddles for the traditionals and the kick for those just getting into country, the combination being more than successful for him.

One of the driving forces behind Morgan’s record breaking chart topping run, “Sand In My Boots” is one of my favorite songs he’s ever put out, especially his version on The Dangerous Sessions.

This may get on some people’s nerves, but if you can look past the capitalized letters, this song is pretty great. Not only is it super catchy and has some of the rock sound we’ve grow to love in artists like Koe Wetzel but HARDY’slyrics are pretty great and really hit you as the song progresses.

How can you not love this song? A karaoke staple and honkytonk favorite, Brooks & Dunnbring the heat and gets those boots tapping.

The dream of being young and free, as told through metaphors. Jon Wolfe’sclassic will stand the test of time, in part due to his voice, that baritone is fantastic.

By far one of the most underrated songs on this list, Terri Clarkproves once again she’s the real deal and very underappreciated.

Is there a more catchy opening line than “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?” There are many reasons Shania Twain is a legend and this is just one. LFG Girls…

Between the driving beat, the fiddle solo and the gravel in his voice, Aaron Watsonknocked this one out of the park. It touches on the pride many people feel about their home and their raising without being cliché, something we know country music needs more of.

You knew Dolly had to make an appearance. This ode to her father and his years of hard work to support the family is one of my favorites by her and honors a man Dolly has nothing but respect and pride for.

As if there would be any question, The Chief clocks in at number 1. “These Boots” has long been a fan favorite and remains one of his best songs to date, which really says something considering how deep his catalogue is.
