After stuffing a Clarkstown North fake punt and eventually scoring its third touchdown of the game, Clarkstown South forced the Rams to fumble the ball on the ensuing kickoff. "They have to make their moments and memories, and we're there as coaches just to kind of guide them through practice, but this is their game," Clarkstown South coach Mike Scarpelli said. "They had to take care of that. They have to make things happen, and they did today."
The Rams will have a quick turnaround and return to action on the road on Tuesday, for a 6 p.m. game in Mahopac. As for the Vikings, they were originally scheduled to play Nyack next Friday, but the RedHawks are on a COVID-related pause. They'll have to scramble and schedule a new opponent.
