May 11, 2007 · #1 · May 11, 2007. Hey yall. I just bought another Federal Bulk Pack, 550 rnds, the new red box for 9.98 or 9.88. I also figured I'd try out the CCI Mini-Mags, for 5.37 per 100. They both advertise the same velocity, and seems to be the same exact rounds. I actually wonder if the CCI name is worth the extra dough for plinkin ammo?
