Outside of commuting to work, my m50x's and beyerdynamic custom studio's cover softball practices, the gym, happy hour etc etc. Maybe my sense of style is alittle outdated(late 20's), but I honestly can't wear headphones that I only see children use.

Disclosure: These links may provide a discount and in return, give us a commission in order to run the website🙂 The Beats brand needs zero introduction by now. If you’ve watched a hip-hop or pop music video in the last few years, or a blockbuster movie like that awful Transformers 4, or even just turned on the TV, chances are you’ve seen a pair of Beats headphones or some Beats speakers like the Pill. Make no mistake about it, Beats absolutely dominates when it comes to marketing. Now, as a...
The vast array of Features of the Beats Studio Wireless is easily the greatest strength of these headphones, which I think a lot of people overlook and instead only focus on sound performance. The most important distinction is that these are Bluetooth headphones, meaning no wires, and no clutter. The wireless feature alone should really divide buye...
Honestly, I think these headphones have terrible build quality for the price, and this is the weakest category for the Beats Studios. For those who don’t know, the original Beats headphones back in 2009 were breaking left and right with snapped headbands and such. So with the revised Studios, Beats implemented a metal band to reduce broken headphon...
Comfort is going to be a subjective category for these headphones since everyone has different head and ear sizes, but for me, these are some of the more comfortable headphones on the market. I’ve used these for a couple of hours at a time and there’s only some slight pain from the top of my ear being pressed on. Also, they can get pretty sweaty du...
Now for the most controversial category of them all… the sound. I’ve already explained that the Beats Studio Wireless should be looked at for its features and overall package, but there will always be the people who only care about pure performance. Now performance is subjective since some people are looking for flat, clinical accuracy, while other...
Bottom line, if you’re looking for pure performance and clinical accuracy, then you should already know by now to look elsewhere. But if you’re in the market for a Bluetooth wireless headphone with active noise cancellation and a fun sound signature that excels for modern genres of music, the Beats Studio Wireless definitely fits the bill. Although...
No, the Beats Studio 2 does not have a built-in mic, but instead has a cable with a microphone attached.
No, the Beats Studio 2 Wireless Headphones are NOT waterproof and do not carry any waterproof or water-resistant rating.

Mar 31, 2015 · Perhaps most interesting is the brand’s reconsideration of the ‘Beats sound’ – a rather bass-heavy character that gave the original Studio headphones a bad name among audiophiles when they launched seven years ago.

Aug 14, 2013 · The Studio 2.0`s are actually reasonably sensitive for an over ear headphone, a few volume steps more sensitive than the Oppo PM3`s. They have no need for amping either as they are internally amplified. This is both a positive and a negative as the internal amp is pretty poor.
As I mentioned above the big problem with the Studio and Studio Wireless is the significant discontinuity in FR at 500Hz. If the whole top part of the response 1kHz and up were shifted down 5-8dB these would be much better sounding headphones.
Rule 1? So as everybody here knows, beats have a reputation for being incredibly bass heavy with lacking mids that only do good when listening to hip hop/rap. But I have heard that the Studio 2.0's have increased the sound quality by a very noticeable amount and you can sometimes find the headphones for $200 on amazon.

May 15, 2008 · You may prefer the sound, but the treble of the Studio 2 is awful, and the headband feels pretty bad to me. Imo, there aren't any redeeming qualities for it. What cans have you heard to compare them to?
