Andrew Orr. Beginning his artistic endeavors at an early age, Andrew Orr received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Oklahoma Christian University, and furthered his studies with courses at the University of New Mexico, study with Carol McIlroy, David P. Curtis and Joseph McGurl.
I create art as part of my desire to help bring something of aesthetic beauty to the world. My paintings are about joy; about expressing the excitement I feel when I see light falling on an autumnal tree or the beauty of a newly opened flower.
Andrew Orr has once again brought forth a backlit landscape from his personal corner of his property. It sold in a few hours and created the request for a similar commission. So we are back to one available painting in the gallery by Andrew Orr!

Professional recognition came with increasing frequency as Orr expanded his range of exhibitions and juried competitions. Although his work received positive reviews and awards beginning the 1990s, he is particularly proud of more recent honors from his fellow-artists.
