BIOGRAPHY - Andrew Orr (Born 1969) Born in the high desert city of Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1969, Andrew Orr and his older sister grew up in an artistic family. Three generations of women in his mother’s family enjoyed the work of over-glaze painting on porcelain.
Andrew Orr (b. 1969) combines impressionism and touches of realism to create paintings that reflect his love of nature and beauty. His paintings are direct and rich, with clear color, expressing his passion for light and life. Andrew began painting at an early age.

Aug 30, 2024 · Beginning his artistic endeavors at an early age, Andrew Orr received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music after which he began his studies in art with courses at the University of New Mexico, with New Mexico impressionist Carol McIlroy and Massachusetts artists David P. Curtis and Joseph McGurl.
