    All applicants will be notified of the status of their applications within 3-4 weeks after the deadline. Students awarded funding must complete a series of pre-departure requirements, including attending a required workshop, before receiving a stipend check.

    Students are required to complete and submit a final report to the Loeb Center at the end of their internship. Furthermore, they must participate in an activity where they share insights from their summer internship with other Amherst students (i.e. Summer Internship Mixer, blog post for website, etc.).

  5. The Summer Study Abroad Fellowships will support in-person programs for the summer of 2022. If a country's borders are open, students are expected to attend the program on site, even if remote learning becomes or is part of the experience due to the pandemic.

  6. Search through the online internship resources made available to you through the Loeb Center. The Loeb Center posts internships and jobs in the Handshake database. Before you can apply for positions through the database, you must have your resume approved for uploading by either a Peer Career Advisor (PCA) or a Loeb Center career advisor.
