Mar 22, 2011 · For nearly a decade, these 17 ladies crisscrossed America by sleeper bus, generating excitement and often breaking records set by the big name man-bands. But sex cut two ways: Audiences saw women and expected a novelty, not a jazz band.
Their music and their incredible, intricate harmonies were an inspriation in a time when there was much darkness. Our goal is to spread nostalgia, joy, and human connection through harmonies and music. I believe that this connection can span many decades, and our repetoire reflects that.
With selections from the Great American Songbook, classic Broadway, pop tunes from the 1950s, and jazz, AMERICA’S SWEETHEARTS charm audiences of all ages while navigating their way through a variety of trios, duets, and solo features… all with a slice of old-fashioned fun!
Nov 4, 2023 · "America's Sweethearts, Carly, Annemarie and Kristen put on a fabulous show for us in Athol, MA in April 2017. They sang their hearts out to a "senior" audience of nearly 400 people who found themselves transported through the music back to the 1940s.
