The Hornet was a compact car built in the US by AMC from 1969-77, replacing the Rambler American, variations were also built in Mexico and Australia. Starting in 1960, AMI (Australian Motor Industries) assembled a broad range of AMC cars, all with right-hand drive and carried the Rambler brand name.
