At the start of the 2020-2021 school year, Alverno embarked on a new journey as a TK-8th grade Lower School was added, creating a lower school and upper school all under the name of Alverno Heights Academy. As of the summer of 2023, Alverno Heights Academy will be a TK-8 Independent, Catholic School and will close the all-girls high school.

Alverno is located on a beautiful 13.5-acre property, which includes the historic Villa Del Sol D’Oro, state-of-the-art S.T.E.A.M Lab, Media Studio, Makerspace, Science Lab, Learning Technology Center, and a new soccer and softball field.
