Michael Hunter Thompson, a 1999 graduate of Allegany High School, plans to capture images of life at the former school on Sedgwick Street by posing alumni in pre-staged photos taken at various spots in and outside the school.

School History. Allegany High School was initially a secondary education school held on Maryland Avenue. The school had many different locations, including the building on Greene Street, which was used as a combined middle/high school until the spring of 1926.

The 8 time Maryland State Football Champions, Allegany Campers, concluded their 2022 season with a winning record, going 7-4 and unfortunately losing in the second round of the playoffs to Fort Hill.
