Alan Belford Jones AO (born 13 April 1941 [1][2][3]) is an Australian former radio broadcaster. He is a former coach of the Australia national rugby union team and rugby league coach and administrator. He has worked as a school teacher, a speech writer in the office of the Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser, and in musical theatre.
Alan Jones has announced he is retiring from radio, with the 79-year-old set to step down as the host of the 2GB and 4BC breakfast program at the end of this month.
