Alex’s passion for music was ignited early, growing up in a family of professional musicians. Under the guidance of his father, the third generation of their Austrian family band, Alex was steeped in the music business from the start.
Alex Meixner: The first influence I always have to recognize is my father, Al Meixner. He was my primary role model as an accordionist, overall musician—teaching me about performance, arranging, recording and producing/ promotion by example.
