   Feb 27, 2021 · Yes, you can take the valve apart to inspect/repair them. I had to do this to one of my E-types when the valve started leaking, and the new one that I bought was cracked/junk. I was able to use part of the old valve, and the head/innerds from the new junk valve.

The IHKA module, amongst other things, sends a pulsed signal to control the heater control valve, during both heating and cooling modes, to maintain the set temperature in the cabin you have set.
