Aug 19, 2014 · Starting with the bottom box and slider: move the metal piece completely to one side of the box, then move the slider to the same position (fully to the same side). Next locate the box onto the control panel making sure the gear between the slider and metal piece mesh properly. Repeat this for all three slider boxes.

Shut off the heater by moving the wick control lever to the "Off" position; the heater should automatically shut down. If it fails to do so, you can manually shut it down by holding the wick control lever in the "Off" position and reducing the grip/flame adjustment to its lowest position.
