ADS-B Exchange not only delivers real-time data through our Enterprise API but also maintains an extensive archive of historical flight data. Since March 2020, we have captured aircraft positions and all related ADS-B/MLAT/Mode S parameters worldwide at five-second intervals.
I created an interactive explorable map showing all the air traffic that happens worldwide in a single day, using data from ADS-B Exchange for September 1st 2022. More than 200 million data points were processed to create the map.
I'm looking for a downloadable ADS-B historical database preferably with a free option, like the one that OpenSky-Network offers.
With over 30 trillion ADS-B, Mode S, TCAS and FLARM messages collected from more than 6000 sensors around the world, the OpenSky Network exhibits the largest air traffic surveillance dataset of its kind.
