Sep 29, 2020 · Each year a large number of Oxford and Cambridge colleges run essay competitions for Year 12 students. Candidates are expected to produce extensively researched, clearly written and well-referenced essays ranging well beyond the set curriculum.

Michael Li was thrilled to receive a high commendation for his economics essay in the John Locke Institute Essay Competition. Michael received his award from Martin Cox, Director of the John Locke Institute, at a gala dinner held at Oxford University.
Several colleges and departments of the University of Oxford run competitions which are open to students from schools and colleges. Preparing an entry for one of these competitions is a valuable experience for academically motivated students, so please do encourage your students to enter.
May 18, 2021 · Oxford Essay Success. A pair of gifted Sixth Form classicists are celebrating success in an essay contest. Angelina and Katerina (L6) both entered the 2020/2021 Classics and Ancient History Essay Competition at St John’s College, Oxford University.
The results template should be completed by the course administrator/Chair of Examiners with both the individual Assessment Unit marks or grades and Year Outcomes. Please note that only whole numbers should be used for results reported as marks, and these should be on the 100 point scale.
