Just months after the project began in earnest, the latest news comes as a major A Simple Favor 2 filming update from director Paul Feig. The accomplished comedy hit-maker spoke candidly about the production of the upcoming sequel and revealed that, as of late-May 2024, A Simple Favor 2 was nearly wrapped. In an era of protracted production timelines, the quick turnaround for the highly-anticipated follow-up is quite promising, though a release date is still elusive.
The Sequel Was Announced In 2022
Despite delays, A Simple Favor 2 has been in the works since 2022, when the sequel was officially announced with Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively already attached.
