Aug 13, 2024 · Cat rescues in San Diego are on a mission to find happy homes and happy humans for the city’s abandoned and stray cats. As one of the leading cat care companies in San Diego, we at The Comforted Kitty are proud supporters of local shelters. And strive to set the bar in cat-sitting services.
We find loving homes for unwanted, abandoned, homeless and abused cats. We open our arms to socialized, people-friendly cats that need assistance, regardless of age and often regardless of handicap. We find good homes for every cat that we take in – we are a true no-kill cat rescue organization.
The focus of community cat programs is bringing down the number of community cats, which will be beneficial to wildlife. When a spayed or neutered community cat returns to a colony, it no longer reproduces and helps suppress the litter sizes of other cats by continuing to use available resources.
Femme Felines is a registered nonprofit cat rescue, proudly woman-owned. We rescue cats from life-threatening situations, rehabilitate them in loving foster homes, and find them their forever families!
Familiar Felines’ mission is to save homeless cats and kittens from overcrowded shelters. Cats considered at risk are placed in temporary foster homes where they are properly loved, socialized and medically treated.
