A Dysfunctional Cat. Tired of looking for the right partner, Mina and Kian decide to have an arranged marriage. Mina has been in a relationship with a married man, ambitious young doctor Kian is fed up of blind dates. After their marriage in Iran, Mina follows her husband to Germany. Language barriers and unemployment make integration difficult.
In a wonderfully understated approach that also exhibits a subtle flair for capturing anxieties, key moments and turning points director Susan Gordanshekan tells this story of a relationship that turns out to be as dysfunctional as the cat that Mina has brought into their shared home.
