A Boy's Will is a poetry collection by Robert Frost, and is the poet's first commercially published book of poems. The book was first published in 1913 by David Nutt in London, with a dedication to Frost's wife, Elinor.
His first two books appeared in England to critical acclaim: A Boy's Will (1913) and North of Boston (1914). Upon returning to the United States in 1915, Frost found himself a literary celebrity and settled first in Franconia, New Hampshire and then South Shaftsbury, Vermont.
Robert Frost’s short volume, “A Boy’s Will,” was his first published collection of poetry. Steeped in the English pastoral tradition, Frost's style manifests straight-forward language and traditional rhythms.
