It describes how quickly or slowly an object moves from one place to another. The standard (SI) unit of speed is meters per second (m/s), but it can also be expressed in other units, such as kilometers per hour (km/h), miles per hour (mph), or feet per second (ft/s), depending on the context or the country's measurement system.
Jun 1, 2022 · Speed which covers 1st 50 km is 25km/h. Formula used: average speed = 2 × x × y x + y. where x and y are speeds. Calculation: x = 25km/h. substituting the equation. average speed = 30 = 2 × 25 × y 25 + y. solving we get y = 37.5km/h.

Kilometers per hour to Meters per second Conversion Example. Task: Convert 75 kilometers per hour to meters per second (show work) Formula: km/h ÷ 3.6 = m/s. Calculations: 75 km/h ÷ 3.6 = 20.8333333333 m/s. Result: 75 km/h is equal to 20.8333333333 m/s.
I use a similar method for converting mph to km/h. Because the the factor is 1.609 you have for x mph: y km/h = 1.609x = x + x/2 + x/10 + x/100 - x/1000. You can omit the two last fractions if you want, but they are all very easy and gives you the exact conversion. Example: 50 mph => 50 + 25 + 5 + 0.5 - 0.05 = 75 + 5.45 = 80.45 km/h
