   That’s how I feel about Présentation ou Charlotte et son steak. The fascination of this 9 minute film is not in what it is, but in what it indicates about the later nouvelle vague. Shot without sound by Eric Rohmer in 1951, I presume it was hoped to add a soundtrack later, but that was only done 10 years later.
