In 2015, after nearly 20 years at Fidélité, Missonnier created his own production company Moana Films. As of 2021, Moana Films has produced 10 features including The Odyssey, Django, Knock, Angel Face and Opération Portugal.
Moana's creators went to great lengths to ensure they got their first Pacific princess' story right, including getting help from many Kiwis.
The organisation currently brings together more than 1,000 French cinema and TV content professionals (producers, talents, agents, sales companies, etc.) working together to promote French films and TV programmes among foreign audiences, industry executives and media.
