  1. The sixth series of the British television drama series Waterloo Road began broadcasting on 1 September 2010, and ended on 6 April 2011 on BBC One. The series follows the lives of the faculty and pupils of the Eponymous school, a failing inner-city comprehensive school.

    Series 6 of Waterloo Road consisted of 20 episodes.

    Following the departure of Rachel Mason after her marriage to Adam Fleet in the Series 5 finale, Karen Fisher takes over as headteacher of Waterloo Road, with her children, Jess and Harry Fisher, becoming new pupils of the school. However, unbeknownst to Karen, the day before the start of Term, Jess unknowingly slept with Science Teacher and Deputy Head Christopher Mead.

    In the first half of Series 6, Ruby Fry is giving Grantly Budgen support after his wife, Fleur, is diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's. The first half also shows Karen Fisher struggling to cope after the disappearance of her daughter, Bex Fisher, splitting from her husband, Charlie Fisher and trying to help her son, Harry, who has bulimia.

    In the second half, pupil Jonah Kirby begins a relationship with Spanish Teacher Francesca Montoya, which ends with the two getting married at the end of the series.
