    "Promised Land" is the seventh episode of the third season. It is the 28th episode of the series overall. The teleplay was written by Chris Rose & Micah Kibodeaux from a story Rose co-wrote with show runner David Simon. It was directed by Tim Robbins. It premiered on HBO on 4 November, 2012 and drew 0.56 million viewers.
