Our tour began at about 8:30a in Toledo and lasted until about 1:30p. We did go inside a few monuments - most notably Toledo Cathedral and the Monastery. The tour group allows you to pick and choose what you want to go inside and see. Its a very well done tour and the walking route is very enjoyable.
