A situational comedy from the 1960's. Sheriff Andy Taylor and his son, Opie, move to sleepy Mayberry, North Carolina, which is virtually crime-free. Including Andy's nervous cousin, Barney Fife, as Andy's deputy who is less than the ideal partner.
Goober makes the mistake of calling an old buddy while he is attending an auto show in Raleigh. Goober thinks he has passed this guy in impressiveness. When they meet, the guy says he is an executive with an engineering degree. Once again, pride gets in the way of common sense and what is really important in life.
