Carrie's Story: Teenager Carrie comes home from a party one night to discover her mother, a prostitute named Sally, murdered. Although she sees a blood-stained man at the scene, the crime goes unsolved.
As a young teenager, Carrie Walsh returned home from a party to find her mother lying in a pool of blood, stabbed to death. She may have also encountered the killer, though all she saw was a shadow before she ran off.
Carrie, the daughter of the murdered woman, Douglas Hain, the detective in charge of the investigation, and Sally, the murder victim, all have their story to tell. Haunted by her mother's murder when she was a child, Carrie seeks to uncover the truth so that she can move on with her life.
