Blackstein is very easy to bully, and Brad frequently calls him "Brainstein" with ironic intent. He doesn't seem to believe in himself, and he's very slow on the draw. In the episode Adderall,he decides to join the Gay Club so he can get into college instead of studying, though this is also probably a result of being lazy.
Blackstein is thin with glasses and a black afro. He is dark-skinned and usually wears a green jacket.
Blackstein's parents are of different skin colors and seem to feel very strongly about racism, going as far as to not separate their white clothing from their colored clothing.
Blackstein has an uncle Jack, who never went to college and died of old age.When Blackstein says that he has a date with the leader of the Gay Club, his parents hold each other and cry, happy that "every college will be fighting over [Blackstein]."He was once arrested by Officer Dunphy for buying pills from a minor.He is half African-American and half Jewish as implied by his surname.Wally Lamber is Amber Lamber's 7 year old brother. In the episode Adderall it is reveal that he regularly drinks alcohol and therefore cannot take his medication which he tried to sell to Blackstein.
In the episode Adderall, she reluctantly gives her Adderall to Blackstein so he can concentrate on being gay. She appears to be both trusting and naive, as shown in the episode Sexting, where she trusts Cassandra with a picture of Brent's penis.
