Crime (also known as Irvine Welsh's Crime) is a Scottish crime drama television series, an adaptation of the Irvine Welsh novel of the same name. The 6-episode first series was co-written by Welsh and Dean Cavanagh and broadcast in 2021 on BritBox , later moved in the UK to be available on ITVX .
On Monday, 21st March 2022, ITV announced that they have commissioned a 6-episode second series of the crime drama. Filming on series two will commence in Edinburgh in Summer 2022. Series two will premiere on ITV's new free streaming service ITVX months before broadcast on ITV.
