  4. Park & display car parks reasonable £1 per hour. Basic but free Toilets at both cafes, which is good as most parks close theirs due to the cost. food prices quite expensive. ( the cafe at the entrance used to be run by volunteers for charity ,but after covid appears to have changed hands).

  5. A beautiful woodland walk, with a variety of routes / walks therein. Within Royden Park itself, there is a walled garden, a pond, ice cream / tea shop and a variety of pathways to explore. If you wish to go further the footpaths lead through to Thurstaston common with spectacular views over to the welsh hills.

  6. Royden Park itself is great for exploring and walking through the woods - dog friendly of course - it can get a bit muddy if its been raining or snowing so wear sensible shoes. Visit Thurstaston Hill and climb on Thor's Rock said to have been there from Viking times!
