    Can you hike down to Kalaupapa village?

    • We took a nice and short walk to the overlook to see the village below and it was a super clear day and great view of Kalaupapa village. The hiking trail down to the village has been closed due to a landslide and is inaccessible. We really wanted to hike down to the village, but it is off limits. OMG, what a view, what a view, what a view.
