Valentina Karanfilova-Stevanovska (born 30 April 1969) is a Macedonian sculptor mainly known for her art works for the Skopje 2014 project. She is the author of a few iconic landmarks in the capital city of North Macedonia, including the Fountain of Alexander the Great, Porta Macedonia and the Fountain of Philip II of Macedon.

May 1, 2018 · The sculpture of the Serbian Tsar Dushan caused a dispute in the ruling coalition and an attempt by the Albanian DUI party to forcibly remove the statue towards the end of 2013. The proposals of nine authors were selected. Seven pieces were made by one artist, Valentina Stevanovska.
