The aim is to "allow the hiring team and your potential coworkers to get to know you better and faster than a basic phone screen would".

But could mean a number of things too, from the hiring manager being on an extended leave of absence; With new funding due to start in April for CP7 some posts could be on hold for the meantime. The hiring manager could have also just forgot to update to unsuccessful.
Jul 4, 2019 · Network Rail are notoriously bad for their turnaround times in terms of replying back to you, regardless of the role. My father who currently works as a quantity surveyor for Network Rail mentioned to me how long it took for him to get his job. I can't remember the actual amount of time but it was a good 3/4 months maybe even longer
