There is an excellent park and ride service which regularly makes its way through the city centre and up to the old town of Stirling for access to Stirling Castle. The bus runs every 20 minutes from 7.30am – 6.30pm Mon – Sat.

Just walk out of the station, turn left and walk past the bus station. Entrance to the Marches/Thistle Centre is up the escalator there. However it would make more sense to take a taxi up to the castle (approx £5) and visit there first and then you can walk down to do some shopping otherwise you will be carrying bags with you everywhere.
