1980’s : With over 200 locations across the Western states, and into British Columbia, Skippers becomes the fourth largest seafood chain restaurant in the nation. 2000’s : A series of ownership changes and economic ups and downs result in a reduction in the number of Skippers locations.
NPC operated Skippers until 1995 when the Pizza Hut giant decided to sell off the now struggling seafood chain. Skippers was purchased by Meridian Capital in 1995, bringing the ownership of the chain back to the Northwest.
