- John Edward Clement Twarowski White, CBE, FSA (4 October 1924 – 6 November 2021) was a British art historian and was formerly the head of the Department of History of Art at the University College London (UCL). In 1992 he was made an Honorary Fellow of UCL.

John joined the History of Art Department at UCL in its earliest years, becoming Head of Department, Durning Lawrence Professor of History of Art, a Vice-Provost and subsequently Professor Emeritus.
