    Dina’s parents Winston and Julie Asher-Smith were both originally from Jamaica, but settled in the UK where they raised their daughter. Her father, Winston was a sprinter while in school, while her mother, Julie, played hockey professionally till she was 30. Her parents have both been supportive of her which has allowed her to push herself and thrive to become the best.
