What are Fast Friends? Fast Friends are Robotic Pets you can keep in your inventory, just like normal Friends! They have a unique way to evolve AND they have something called "Star Ranks".
Hop on over to the Evolution area, where you can obtain and evolve Fast Friends using the Evolution Machine; there are currently 20 Fast Friends in the game, with vending machines up to Hill Top Zone and one in Cyber Station containing them.
Another alternate way to obtain them is to do the Fast Friends Event, which you can unlock 5 Fast Friend Sonics there.
To evolve Fast Friends, go to The Fast Friend Evolution area, where you can evolve all your Fast Friends! To Evolve them, go close to the Evolution Machine for the UI pop up, pick a Fast Friend you're going to evolve, then pick either other Fast Friends or Chao. Each upgrade attempt costs Red Star Rings (RSR), and the amount of RSR needed depends on the Star Rank of the Fast Friend you're trying to upgrade:
•Star Rank 1 -> Star Rank 2; Cost: 20
•Star Rank 2 -> Star Rank 3; Cost: 50
•Star Rank 3 -> Star Rank 4; Cost: 200
•Star Rank 4 -> Star Rank 5; Cost: 300
•Star Rank 5 -> Star Rank 6; Cost: 500
Add-on Stats
Same Stats as your best Friend pretty much when you buy them, but they have an extra stat. Sonic & Cream have Luck , Shadow, Amy & Blaze have Stamina , Knuckles, Tails & Silver have Magnet , Metal Sonic has Stamina & Luck , Cheese has Event & Luck and Chocola has Stamina & Event !
