Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune (IISER Pune) is an autonomous public university established in 2006. It is one of the seven Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research, and was one of the first IISERs to be established along with IISER Kolkata. [4] It is located in the city of Pune, India.
IISER Pune is now located on a 98-acre parcel of land in Pashan, generously made available by CSIR-NCL. We moved, lock, stock and barrel, into this permanent campus in 2014, which is surrounded by NCL, the beautiful Panchvati hills, the Armament Research & Development Establishment and the neighbourhood of Aundh.
