James Marne Kumar Maitland (18 December 1914 – 24 August 1991) was an Anglo-Indian character actor in films and television programmes. Biography [ edit ] Maitland was born in Calcutta , [3] and educated at Bedales School before going up to Magdalene College, Cambridge , where he took a BA in 1936.
Married to the British actress Bettine Milne, he died after a short illness at the age of 77 at the end of 1991, being buried in the Municipal Cemetery of Terracina (Latina). IT
