The ballot for this year’s AJ Bell Great North Run is now open. The iconic half marathon will be back on the streets of the North East on Sunday 8 September. With 60,000 entrants the event continues to be the UK’s biggest running event and the world’s biggest half marathon.
The guaranteed entry window is now open for Great North Run Members and those who withdrew from the 2023 event. You will have received an email with your unique entry link. The 2024 AJ Bell Great North Run ballot will open here in January.

The AJ Bell Great Run ballot is now open until 12th February 2024 at 10am, after which the draw will take place. When you enter the ballot you will be asked to submit payment details for the entry fee and for any optional add-ons you may wish to purchase.
