Lexa would have been able to transcend. Most importantly, the showrunners could have given Clarke the perfect ending by having Lexa resurrect herself to stay with Clarke after they all became one with the Force (a.k.a. City of Light 2.0, I’m still pissed). This is literally what happened with Emori.
